A bone crumbles delicately into a sand dune,
with nimble flesh and sinews of delicate grains.
Memories of a once picturesque sandcastle,
now has trodden silver seashells dancing in its veins.
In the crumbling, memories recount,
how each speck becomes residues.
recurring pain lullabies in the memories
disguising the hunger for sleep as night-time blues.
Yet the world opens an ailing heart
and each vain embedded with a seam.
but the clogged capillaries were stuffed with rain.
alleviating the chronic rainbow with pills of sunbeams.
Each symptom rest in the jar of alabaster.
now emptied from the oil, myrrh, and gold.
Palpitations, aching bones, and mental groan,
are silenced symptoms left untold.
Leave like water and loosen like it.
Burn like fire and haze like a mist.
With the healing away from strife
Call both the psalmist and the alchemist.
