out by the shore
she sung with the waves
and in the sun,
the night escapes.
she breathes, and breath again
a vapour of a song
condensed into the brave and free
will you dare to remember she.
the melody she gave
they took the notes.
and reduced her wisdom
into stillness quotes
she sang as the tune.
hummed and entuned
another song will have to do
when we danced like the rhythm is you
