a poem about nothing

WORDS:
Everything woke up today; pulling and tugging

Everything woke up today; pulling and tugging.

At my heart strings; buoyant to everything in a heart floating about something.

Somethings become sometimes,
some dreams becomes goodbyes,
but I’m holding onto everything,
and don’t want to say goodbye to
some things that have become everything that I’d wish
and wouldn’t want to make my wants into nothings.

So I got out of bed and wrote about nothing
which felt like somethings and
put them in my bag called everything.

And got on with my day,
Till the baggage just felt light and really did become nothing.

Everything woke up today; to complain about nothing.

Everything woke up today; to complain about nothing.

Everything woke up today; to do something.
