The Wait

WORDS:

I’m so overwhelmed with love that sometimes I become an ash heap built on my desires and lusts.

My love is wholesome and whole; sometimes quiet, sometimes brave and sometimes bold.

I wear the loop of my heart on my left finger, my desire for purity. My happy ever after where this daughter is reminded to honour Her Father.

I have walked a thousand miles; I have floated across the Nile. I have walked in this wilderness before.

No matter the terrain or the climate, I am on the journey to doing the right thing and today that looks like a purity ring.

A beautiful reminder that God makes everything beautiful in His time. I remember that when I am overwhelmed with love; that my heart, body and mind is being transformed into something more.

Blessed be His name if I make it to the altar or don’t. But I want to say if I do, you are everything and more that I’ve always wanted then my eyes light up when I remember He who finds a wife finds a good thing and that for today that definitely makes it worth the wait.
